Dhul-Hijjah 2013 should start on 6th October 2013 in North, Central and South America as well as in Europe, Africa and most of Asia except for a few countries towards the east of this continent. The rest of the world, mainly countries belonging to Oceania and a few countries of Asia like Japan, South Korea and North Korea should start Dhul-Hijjah 2013 on 7th October 2013. The countries that start Dhul-Hijjah on 6th October will celebrate Eid Al Adha 2013 [Aid El Adha 2013 / Aid El Kebir 2013] on Tuesday, 15th October 2013 while the others that start Dhul-Hijjah on 7th October will celebrate Eid Al Adha 2013 on 16th October 2013, Wednesday.

It is possible for most of the world to start Dhul-Hijjah 2013 on the same day of 6th October 2013 because the zone of extended visibility of the crescent of 5th October 2013 applies to most areas of the world. Dhul-Hijjah 2013 (1434) should start on Sunday, 6th October 2013 in North, Central and South America as well as in Europe, Africa and in most of the countries in Asia except Japan, South Korea and North Korea. All of Russia except to east of Yakutsk and all of China except to the east of Harbin should also start Dhul-Hijjah on 6th October 2013.
Dhul-Hijjah 2013 (1434) should start on Monday, 7th October 2013 in all of Oceania except French Polynesia, to the east of Yakutsk in Russia and to the east of Harbin in China.
Wuquf Arafat, the main event of Hajj, concerns Saudi Arabia only. Since Dhul-Hijjah in Saudi Arabia starts on 6th October 2013, Wuquf Arafat, the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah / Hajj 2013 will be on Monday, 14th October 2013.
The countries that start Dhul-Hijjah on 6th October will celebrate Eid Al Adha 2013 on Tuesday, 15th October 2013. Others, which start Dhul-Hijjah on 7th October, will celebrate Eid Al Adha 2013 on Wednesday, 16th October 2013.
